Nick's inspiration to get into the cabinet business came from a source close to home. In fact it was his home. After a pipe burst and water ravaged his kitchen and basement, he began the process of doing the repairs himself, which included redesigning his kitchen and basement. As he did, he recognized how much he enjoyed the process and realized he wanted to be in the business. He proceeded to recruit experts in the field and has since established locations in Norfolk, Lincoln, Columbus and soon in Omaha, Nebraska.
Vondrak graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1996 with a BS Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in economics. He is married to wife Stephanie, and has 3 children, Harry, Elizabeth and David.

Before joining gv Kustom Kitchens, Matt worked in the finish carpentry business for 8 years. "When I worked out in the field I enjoyed installing cabinetry the most! During that time, the project would take the biggest leap to looking like a home. It is also a tremendous sense of accomplishment." Matt took his knowledge of math and engineering combined with his experience of finish carpentry and now designs and sells cabinetry while he manages the Norfolk location. Matt has been with the company for eight years.
